Mrs. Christel is the mother of Sylvia Christel. Not much is known about her other than from a phone conversation she had with Travis Touchdown, after he paid his entry fee for his final ranking battle in No More Heroes. After Sylvia disappeared without a trace following Travis's Rank 2 fight against Bad Girl, Travis decided to call what he believed was the United Assassins Association's hotline. Instead, he ends up on the phone with Mrs. Christel, who tells him that Sylvia is a professional con artist, and that the UAA does not actually exist. Travis becomes enraged upon hearing this news, but decides to finish his last fight in the rankings, as Mrs. Christel told him "A real man finishes what he started."
Much like her daughter, Mrs. Christel uses the term "The Garden of Madness" to describe the ranking fights.
