Dr. Naomi (ナオミ) is a supporting character in the 2007 video game No More Heroes. She is a professional scientist and engineer; her full name (assuming her given name isn't a pseudonym), as well as age and nationality are unknown. Naomi researches and develops beam katanas, including the Tsubaki series designed for Travis Touchdown's exclusive use, as well as other weapons and new household appliances.
In No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, she had created Travis' Glastonbury. She seems to find a slight distaste in Travis being an otaku, and acts sour towards him on many occasions. Also, according to the game's instruction booklet, she is hiding a mysterious secret. This may be a reference to Dr. Naomi Hunter of the Metal Gear Solid series. This would also explain the jump in scale from beam katanas to a giant mech, and it could also refer to the fact that she is stated to be in her 60's.
In No More Heroes III, Dr. Naomi shows up once again, having somehow been transformed into a talking cherry blossom tree and residing in Travis's basement. She also has some sort of power that she helps her sister Dr. Juvenile awaken within Travis, transforming him into a mech.
Dr. Naomi is voiced by Vanessa Marshall.
