Black Night Direction is a leader of the Galactic Superhero Corps, No. 8 in the Galactic Ranking, and an antagonist in No More Heroes III.
Appearance[]
Black Night Direction is an alien with pale blue skin with long dark green hair with dark blue topes. He has black sclera and amber yellow pupil and blackish-red antennae at his back. True to his epithet, he wore a large black cowl that covers his entire body and has a red faceguard.
Personality[]
Black Night Direction is an alien kidnapper with a samurai demeanor and a cruel, psychopathic side, shown when he talks to FU about methodically cutting up Travis's limbs while also displaying very cold, serious loyalty towards his master "FU". He also has a sentimental side to him, shown when he reminisces about a family trip to the ocean he remembers little about except for a white lighthouse and a shop with a hanging lightbulb with jingling glass. The sound of the latter he found moving. The story was also moving for FU, who offered to help Black Night Direction find said lighthouse (even if he would die before he could have that chance), much to Direction's pleasure.

Black Night Direction is loyal to FU, addressing him with terms such as "Your Highness" and "Lord", willing to follow his command no matter what. He also seems to have a somewhat friendly connection with him, as the two are seen eating together at a ramen stand.

Powers and Abilities[]
While not much is shown, Black Night Direction is assumed to be far stronger than Gold Joe and Mr. Blackhole together, as he is ranked eight. He is capable of flight and teleportation thanks to some sort of device.
Story[]
In a memory sequence, Black Night Direction and FU are shown eating together at a ramen stand, where FU asks whether or not Black Night Direction is prepared to defeat Travis Touchdown. Black Night Direction expresses confidence in his abilities, denouncing Travis as a mere human and describing how he plans to sever Travis's arms and then "slice him up nicely." FU then asks Black Night Direction if he has any special memories, to which Black Night Direction reminisces about a trip to the sea, where he remembers seeing a shop with a glass bulb hanging from the ceiling, and outside the shop, a white lighthouse. He sadly says that he no longer knows where that place is.
Later, Black Night Direction is requested by FU to take out Travis Touchdown. He confronts Travis in Osaka, where Travis describes him as having a Zen aura. However, he is decapitated by Native Dancer before the battle has a chance to start.
