Jasper Batt Jr. had every quality to become the greatest villain of all time.
He was made to be hated, and Suda had so much ambition in making him a great villain.
He has references to a lot of characters from DC like Lex Luthor, The Bane, and especially Batman (Given how much Batman Figures are in Grasshopper Manufacture).
He has the voice of Yuri Lowenthal who did Ben Tennyson and Albedo from Ben 10.
He has everything to become the greatest love-to-hate villain like Dr. Weil from Mega Man Zero.
And yet he failed…
Qualities Include:
A terrible boss fight which Suda did not intend to make it bad; he did his best and it was a failure.
Annoying Voice combined with the design; really? Even Yuri’s role as Albedo from Ben 10 does not work when you see his face?
Unsatisfying Defeat; now listen to me here, Suda did not intend the boss fight to be bad for this, he tried his best in making the boss fight. So it has nothing to do with how he intentionally made the ending like this to show how revenge is not that satisfying all the time.
Related to A Bad Pizza Side-Quest from the first game; I did not play the original game nor watched most of it on YouTube, but why was that quest so bad and infamous among No More Heroes fans?
But I just want to know. How did Jasper Batt Jr. become one of the most infamous characters ever created? Because Suda had great ambition in making him like this. So how did it all went downhill and fail as a result?
How did Jr. here become such an infamously hated character like this? But not what Suda intended; since he is a “Hate-to-Hate” and not a “Love-to-Hate”.
Please tell me why these points mattered at the time and still do.
And please do not use the cringey nickname, “Jasper Bratt Jr.”, because I do not like that cringey nickname for him.
